Loss of Shinichi Saito Tokyo, Japan -- It is with deepest regret and sorrow that we report the loss of Shinichi Saito, who passed away on December 7. We express our most heartfelt sympathies and condolences to Mr. Saito's family. Profile of Shinichi Saito Mr. Saito was born in 1945. Since he was admitted to the Dai-ichi Tokyo Bar Association in 1973, Mr. Saito practiced law for over thirty years and had a range of experience with in and out-bound cross-border M&A, corporate restructuring, various corporate legal matters, antitrust, dispute resolution and legal negotiation. He joined the Firm in 1975 and transferred to the Washington, DC office of Baker & McKenzie in 1977. Mr. Saito held a number of internal leadership positions with Baker & McKenzie including membership in the Firm's Executive Committee, Nominating and Financial Committees and was the Chair of the Asia Pacific Regional Group.
